Terms of Service

1. Who we are, and what you're agreeing to

AURIC ("AURIC", "we", "us") provides a trading journal and analytics application available at this website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What AURIC is — and what it isn't

AURIC is a journaling and analytics tool. It helps you record trades you have already made, review your own performance, and build discipline around your own process. AURIC is not a broker, not an investment adviser, and nothing in the Service — including scores, statistics, insights produced by Auric IQ, reactions, or any other output — constitutes financial, investment, tax or trading advice. Analytics describe your past data; they do not predict markets. Trading futures, forex, stocks, options and cryptocurrencies involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Decisions you make remain entirely yours.

3. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions, trials and pricing

The Service is offered on paid subscription plans, billed monthly or annually. New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial; a payment method is collected up front and the first charge occurs when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.

Founder pricing is a promotional rate available to a limited number of early subscribers. The founder rate remains locked for as long as the founder subscription stays continuously active; if the subscription lapses or is cancelled, the lock ends and re-subscribing is at then-current pricing. Prices exclude any applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other users' data, probing or circumventing security measures, reselling or sublicensing the Service, scraping it at scale, reverse engineering it to build a competing product, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable.

7. Your data stays yours

You own your journal — your trades, notes, screenshots and settings. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process and display that data back to you and to operate the Service (for example, syncing it between your devices). You can export your data at any time from Settings, and you can request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

8. Rewards, tiers and partner offers

Auric Score tiers, avatar rings and badges are status features, not financial instruments, and carry no monetary value. Where we describe future partner benefits (such as prop-firm discounts or broker deposit bonuses) as "coming soon", these are intentions, not commitments, and may change or not materialise; any live partner offer will carry its own terms when it launches.

9. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Service fast and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available" — we can't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may improve, change or discontinue features over time; if we ever discontinue the Service as a whole, we will give reasonable notice and a window to export your data.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms. On termination, the licence you grant us ends and your data is handled per the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we'll give notice (for example by email or in-app) before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
